Dr. Greenberry Taylor
Assistant Professor of Strategic Communication, Department of Communication at Flagler College
Greenberry Taylor is an Assistant Professor of Strategic Communication at Flagler College. Greenberry earned his Ph.D. and master’s degrees from the University of Florida, along with a Graduate Certificate in Spirituality and Health. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Spring Hill College. Greenberry is trained in mixed-methods, including qualitative (e.g., interviews, thematic analysis), quantitative (e.g., content analysis, survey design), systematic review, and historical (e.g. oral histories, archival search, etc.). His area of research focuses on the intersection of mindfulness/mental health and emerging technology.
He has worked on multiple grant-funded research studies and collaborated with multi-disciplinary teams of clinicians and researchers from various health science programs, including the College of Medicine, the College of Nursing, and the UF Health System.
Greenberry has presented his research at conferences such as the International Conference on Communication in Healthcare (ICCH), Academy of Communication in Healthcare, and the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC) His work has been published in the Medical Acupuncture, Journal of Geriatric Nursing, American Journal of Men’s Health, Medical Acupuncture, Sex Education, with several publications in progress/under review.
